In these past few weeks, close to 4 million men, women and children have been displaced in Ukraine. Hundreds of thousands have fled their home, seeking safety in neighboring countries. There are many more who are still in the country and face an uncertain tomorrow. For them, shelter, warm clothing, food, and even life itself are no longer a certainty. We, as a church, are praying for our brothers and sisters in need and want to help practically.

We are partnering with the Christian relief organization out of Germany who have provided rapid humanitarian aid since 1976 and have now also stepped up to help in Ukraine.

Your contribution will help to scale up the aid effort and support the increasing number of people in need. You will be providing blankets, food, and hope to those surrounded by war and struggling with extreme cold.

The cost of delivering 20 tons of humanitarian aid into affected areas is only $4000. That means $10 delivers enough supplies for a family of 4 to have enough food for 9 days.

Please donate and know that 100% of your contribution will be used to provide relief directly to those affected by this crisis. May God bless your generosity.

Pray for Ukraine

In this difficult time, many of us may not know what to pray for or how to ask for help. We invite anyone who would like to pray to use this guide as we all call out to God to bring Peace.

Pray About Those in Authority

“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1)

Let’s pray for God to provide those in leadership with wisdom.

Pray that God will give those in authority the courage to make the right decisions and to end the conflict.

Pray for leaders around the world to be moved to help protect the innocent civilians in danger.

Pray About The Safety of Families and the Children

“In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:10)

Pray that children would be safe from the conflict.

Pray that those with already compromised health or wounded would receive necessary medical care and find healing.

Ask God to protect families from harm who are taking shelter in crowded, cold and dangerous living conditions.

Pray About Caregivers, Medical Professionals, and Those Assisting Refugees

“Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him” (Psalm 41:1)

Pray for strength and wisdom for all who serve children and families during this conflict and that they would receive God’s strength.

Ask God to give the people helping peace and comfort as they carry heavy burdens and concerns.

Pray that God would provided resources to them with all they need to serve the people in need well.

Pray that God would protect them as they are helping and assisting.

Pray About the Local Church

“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)

Pray for protection for pastors and volunteers who are ministering in the most dangerous environments.

Pray that God would strengthen the Church and equip pastors to continue to provide teaching and training for families in their community
